The UM 75 is a limited edition 75th anniversary modern reissue of the vintage round badge Neumann Gefell UM 57. It is a large diaphragm multi pattern tube condenser microphone equipped with a EF86 vacuum tube and output transformer. It uses an M 7 capsule with a single brass backplate and dual gold plated PVC diaphragms. The omnidirectional, cardioid and figure of eight polar patterns can be selected via the power supply. The microphone is ideal for recording solo vocals, background vocals, acoustic guitars, percussion, strings and upright basses as well as an ambience microphone. Includes aluminium suitcase, UN 920.1 power supply, EA 92 elastic suspension, C. 92.1 microphone cable and W 92 windscreen.
