The M 7 is one of the most famous and revered microphone capsule design of all times. It is a dual 10µ PVC diaphragm on a single brass backplate capsule. First produced in 1932 in Berlin. There were variants sold by Telefunken (ElaMz 032/01 and Klangfilm). It has a cardioid polar pattern.
