The M 297 is a small diaphragm wide cardioid condenser microphone with a nickel diaphragm capsule. These fixed capsule models (M 294, M 295, M 296, M 297) are an extension of the MV 200/SMS 2000 body plus capsules system. The microphone is well suited for both studio and location recording as well as sound reinforcement applications. The M297 exhibits a 4 dB broad boost between 6 kHz and 9 kHz. It also features a switchable 10 dB attenuation pad and a low-cut filter (-18 dB @ 60 Hz). Includes wooden case.
