The M 296 is a small diaphragm omnidirectional condenser microphone with a nickel diaphragm capsule. These fixed capsule models (M 294, M 295, M 296, M 297) are an extension of the MV 200/SMS 2000 body plus capsules system. The M 296 is ideal for radio, television, studio, location and any high quality recording needs. Its flat frequency response guarantees orthophonic recordings in the near and far field. It also features a switchable 10 dB attenuation pad and a low-cut filter (-10 dB @ 90 Hz). Includes wooden case. Also available in a special DIN IEC 651 Class @ compliant version for sound measurement as the M 296 S.
