The M 1030 is a large diaphragm side-addressed transformer-less cardioid condenser microphone. The capsule features a gold sputtered PE diaphragm over a brass back plate. Both the capsule and the electronics are internally shock-mounted. It is a universal microphone capable of extreme dynamic range and low self-noise, well suited for broadcast and studio recording applications including vocals, dialogue, acoustic guitars, piano, percussion, wind and string instruments. The M 1030 has a flat frequency response with a slight presence boost in the 8 kHz to 14 kHz range. Its polar response provides a very high degree of rejection for sounds sources positioned at the rear of the microphone. Includes wooden box and MH 93.1 microphone holder.
