The M 102 is a large diaphragm omnidirectional condenser microphone with a 1″ nickel diaphragm measurement quality capsule and a modular preamplifier. The phantom powered preamplifier can be used with other Gefell measurement capsules as it internally generates the required 200 V polarisation voltage. The nickel diaphragm is grown on the metal structure of the microphone. It is ideal for acoustic instruments recording, as an AB stereo pair, or Decca Tree as well as a spot microphone. Matched pairs and triples are available on request. The omnidirectional pattern has a flat free-field response between 20 Hz and 20 kHz. Includes wooden box, MH 93.1 microphone holder and A63 1/2″ to 1″ capsule mount adapter.
