The KS3 is a large diaphragm studio microphone with a 25 mm capsule. The design is unusual in using an aluminium diaphragm and can handle an unusally high SPL as result (max 173 dB SPL). The microphone uses all valve (tube) circuitry and has outputs at both microphone and line level. In line mode the maximum signal level is +29 dBu.
