The CM3 is a compact – about the size of an XLR plug – small diaphragm electret cardioid condenser microphone ideal for strings, piano, brass, percussion, choir and voice in sound reinforcement and studio applications. Capsules are measured during manufacture to ensure close tolerances. Response on axis is 100Hz – 16kHz +/- 1dB. [Earlier versions – pre 2011 – had a lower voltage preamplifier with slightly reduced specifications]. With P12 Max SPL is reduced to ~120dB. Includes foam windshield, microphone holder and case.
