The K804 is a large diaphragm vacuum tube condenser microphone. It uses a Telefunken EF804S valve coupled to a Lundahl output transformer via a Mundorf thin foil capacitor. No electrolitics are used in the signal path. The power supply allows pattern selection from omnidirectional to bidirectional with intermediate steps for a total of nine settings. The microphone also features a switchable -15 dB attenuation Pad and Mogami cabling. The K804 can be ordered with a choice of different capsules. Power supplies are available in 1, 2 and 5 channel versions.
