The KMC20 is a line arry microphone equipped with four 4 mm miniature cardioid capsules. The array provides a minimal gain variation with distance. As a result, the distance between the orator and the microphone is not crucial. The polar response is cardioid in the horizontal plane, and very narrow in the vertical plan, therefore, when mounted in vertical, not only does the mic not pick up sound from behind, but it’s also insensitive to sounds that come from above and below, strongly reducing the amount of ambient sound captured. It is ideal for boardrooms, houses of worship, broadcast and educational facilities. The microphone is finished in polished steel and has an IP54 rating.
