The RS-2 is a remote controllable stereo Mid-Side ribbon microphone with built-in discrete preamplifiers. It features a 1,8 micron aluminium ribbon and a transformer based Mid-Side matrix. The RS-2 has a 50, 80 and 120 Hz switchable low-cut filter and an “Air Boost” for high-frequencies. The remote control features a microphone and channel phase invert mode and a Dim mode for speaker protection during microphone placement. The microphone head can be rotated in order to change from M/S to L/R recording arrangements. Microphone and line out transformers are Swedish Lundahl. The RS-2 uses audiophile components with no electrolytic capacitors in the signal path. Includes RS-2 microphone, RS-2 remote control unit, RS-2 power supply unit, shock mount, custom made cables for microphone, remote control and mains, microphone dust protection cover and flight case.
