Common name: Horch RM2
Production Status: Discontinued / Vintage
The Horch RM2 is hand built in the tradition of the famous microphones of the 50s and 60s. It uses a Telefunken ac701 tube and an oversize transformer. It can be used in either a linear mode with a polar pattern infinitely variable (at the PSU) between omni, cardioid and figure-of-eight – or in an extreme mode with an enhanced proximity effect.
