Common name: Hammer Audio HA-69

Production Status: In production

The HA-69 is a large diaphragm multipattern valve condenser microphone. It features a Peluso K67 capsule, custom Sowter transformer and two distinct switchable preamplifier circuits based around a NOS Mullar CV4507 subminiature tube. Circuit “B” has a vintage tube sound with warm lows and detailed highs while circuit “C” provides a more natural sound for a wider choice of sound sources. A soft mute circuit allows noiseless switching. Polar patterns are continuously sweepable between omnidirectional and bidirectional via the power supply that also features a switchable -14 dB attenuation pad. 80 Hz and 180 Hz low-cut filters are also available. Includes custom shock-mount, 3 metre XLR-7 microphone cable, power supply and custom flight case.
