The Groove Tubes GT33 incorporates all of the features of the GT44 cardioid, with FET circuitry replacing the tube. It is an all-around mid-sized diaphragm microphone at a modest price. This reissue end-fire true condenser features a hand-assembled, hand-tested 0.75-inch diameter capsule. The thin 6-micron evaporated-gold diaphragm provides high sensitivity that delivers a transparent sound across the full frequency spectrum. Groove Tubes’ rigorous quality control also insures that each mic is within +/-1 dB of a golden microphone spec. The capsules are interchangeable and supercardioid and omni versions are offered.
