The RE15 is a dynamic super-cardioid microphone for professional applications. Its has no off-axis colouration while providing high directionality and the greatest possible rejection of unwanted sound. It is equipped with a bass tilt-switch to compensate for bass frequencies dropping-off when the microphone is far away from the sound source. This is achieved via a passive network equaliser providing 8 dB of boost between 100 Hz and 1 kHz. Internal transducer parts are nested together for maximum reliability and resistance to mechanical shock. The steel body provides optimum protection against magnetic interference. The RE15 employs an exclusive non-metallic ElectroVoice Acoustalloy diaphragm providing a smooth frequency response while being insensitive to high humidity, extreme temperatures and corrosion resistant. The RE15 is finished in non reflecting matte satin nickel. Includes model 310 stand mount, 18-feet, 2 conductor, shielded, broadcast type, synthetic rubber-jacketed cable and protective metal carrying case.
