The 666R is an all purpose cardioid dynamic microphone. The cardioid pattern is obtained through use of three sound entrances located in the microphone case at different distances in the back of the diaphragm. The capsule diaphragm employs an exclusive ElectroVoice non metallic Acoustalloy providing a smooth response over a wide frequency range while being immune to high humidity, corrosion and mechanical shocks. It can be used handheld, on a floor, desk stand or a boom. The 666R variant is identical to the standard 666 version but has a 4.5 dB frequency rise between 100 Hz and 2 kHz. Impedance can be selected between 50, 150 or 250 ohm by swapping soldered wires within the connector. Includes twenty-foot, three conductor, shielded neoprene rubber jacketed cable, model 300 stand coupler and protective case. The microphone has a cast aluminium body and is finished in non-reflecting grey.
