The ElectroVoice 643 Cardiline cardioid-line dynamic microphone is a special design microphone for extended long-range pickup. The capsule features an Acoustalloy diaphragm. Its pickup response is highly directional, maintaining the cardioid polar pattern down to 100 Hz. The EV643 frequency response is flat from 30 Hz to 10 kHz. It features a sharp 100 Hz low-cut filter with a 50, 150 and 200 ohm impedance selector to match the microphone impedance as well as a selectable 5 and 10 db low frequency tilt settings to reduce ambience noise and room reverberation. Includes a 20 ft. cable.
