The 611 Mercury is an omnidirectional general purpose dynamic microphone with a die-cast housing and a distinctive satin chromium finish, a tilt-able head and an on/off switch. It features a non-metallic Acoustalloy type, providing smooth frequency response while being immune to high humidity, temperature swings and corrosion. It was available in high (25000 ohm) or low impedances (150, 200 or 500 ohm). It is ideal for vocal and music sound reinforcement and recording, public address, paging and ham radio applications. It was available with either a 8 ft. or 20 ft. cable.
