The 4088 is a cardioid electret condenser headset microphone ideal for both spoken word and vocal performance applications. It provides excellent off-axis rejection in high-SPL situations. The bass response is designed for optimal linearity at 2-3 cm (1 inch) from the sound source. The boom is 3 cm (1 in) longer than on the omnidirectional version, allowing optimal placement at the corner of the mouth. Like all CORE series microphones the 4088 is IP58 certified thanks to a water-repellent nano-coating of the cover and housing and the hermetic sealing of the amplifier. The microphone is available with Microdot, Sennheiser, Shure, Wisycom, Lectrosonics and Zaxcom wireless or wired XLR terminations. Includes foam windshield and case.
