The 4080 is a personal microphone which has a cardioid pattern and is fitted with an integral foam windscreen and shockmount. It is pre-equalised for use, off-axis, about 20-25 cm from the mouth and has a 4 dB presence boost to improve speech intelligibility and definition.The diaphragm is vertically oriented. Cable length is 1.2 m.
