The 4063 is designed for systems with powering as low as 3 V. It is acoustically identical with the 4061, but the FET preamp is designed for working with lower supply voltage. It uses a prepolarized omnidirectional 5.4 mm vertical diaphragm and is insensitive to the humidity problems that often occur in theatrical applications. Exchangeable protection grids allow acoustic compensation for different body placement. The noise floor is 26 dB(A) re. 20 µPa and it can handle sound pressure levels up to 138 dB SPL peak before clipping occurs. Connection adapters allows use with almost any professional wireless system plus 48 V phantom.
