Core Sound Binaural

Common name: Core Sound Binaural

Production Status: In production

The Core Sound Binaural are miniature electret condenser microphones based on modified Matsushita omnidirectional capsules. The microphone shell is 0.6 cm in diameter and 1.2 cm in length. The microphone cables are connected to a battery box via a multi-pin connector that splits the cable in a two foot 3.5 mini stereo terminated lead. The battery box is powered by an alkaline 9 V battery and is also optionally available with a low cut filter. The Core Sound Binaural microphones are ideal for recording concerts, lectures and rehearsals. They are provided in pairs and feature clips to allow placement near or next to the users ears for binaural recording.
