The CCRM 4000 / C 303 is a Plenum rated tri-element motorized ceiling microphone for boardrooms, conferencing, and court rooms applications. The microphone array features 3 X cardioid elements placed at 120° from each other, covering a 360° angle. Its control ports allow DSP connection and daisy chain expansion to other CCRM 4000 / C 303 retractable units. Main and secondary units are identical in construction. Two rotary 0-9 digital decimal encoders are used to set the main unit (00) while 01 to 99  determines secondary designation. Up to 99 secondary units can be daisy chained to the Main. The factory default is set to main (00). The RJ45 socket allows easy and fast connection of the audio to a mixer or DSP processor. A 9-48 Volt phantom power is required. The IR remote control is supplied with the Main unit. It can also be used to activate the units in the absence of a DSP processor. A 2.5 metres audio cable is included. A universal mains switched mode power supply powering up to 4 units is available as a separate item. The microphone features a ceiling bezel with detection switch and an automatic safety detection for cable hang-ups. The CCRM4000-C303 is mounted inside a modified Chief CMS491 Plenum rated storage box. It is available in Black Satin or Gloss White finish.
