The Notre Dame is a large diaphragm multi-pattern vacuum tube condenser microphone. It uses a hand-made M7 style capsule, Cinemag NiCo USA made output transformer, Wima MK4 polystyrene, Solen and Jensen capacitors. The amplifier circuit is based around a NOS Valvo/Philips PF86 vacuum tube. It is switchable from omnidirectional to figure of eight with all in-between polar patterns. The microphone body is a replica of the Neumann U47 body. Includes an exclusive custom made Rycote shock mount, OCC wiring, custom OCC microphone cable with classic style screw-in Binder cable connection and aluminium carrying case.
