The Cascade FAT Head II is a short ribbon microphone. It uses a 2.5 micron ribbon and a new brass body to protect the microphone from RFI. This new model has a reinforced neck and grill assembly, improved hardware plating and gold-plated XLR connector. The FAT Head II also features a Lundahl LL2913 transformer mounted on a through hole circuit board. It is available in a Standard version that includes a microphone clip, leatherette pouch and polypropylene travel case or a Deluxe version that includes a shock-mount, leatherette pouch and aluminium case. The FAT Head II is also available in stereo pairs.
