The Cardinal DVM microphones are handmade in Germany by Dieter Schöpf. They feature a suspended capsule providing decoupling and isolation from structure born sound. The diaphragm is suspended by means of specially deigned rubber absorbers. The head-basket grille is acoustically open to avoid any deflections or reflections. The DS MC251, inspired by the legendary Elam 251 from the DS series features a special handmade capsule, large linear MU-shielded output transformer and a hand-selected tube. It is ideal for instrument, vocals, instrument and speech applications. The compact MTC series is transistor based featuring a very short signal path for excellent sound quality. Includes microphone cable, power supply, case and shock-mount.
