The e300² is a dual diaphragm externally-biased condenser design with three switchable patterns. It uses a sophisticated op-amp design as the impedance converter and a servo output (transformerless) configuration. These techniques allow high levels of negative feedback to be used to reduce non-linearity and to avoid the requirement for interstage coupling capacitors. The pad is a non-capacitive design and reduces gain only.
