AT895
Common name: Audio-Technica AT895
Production Status: Discontinued / Vintage
The AT895 is a revolutionary adaptive array microphone utilizing Delta-Beam technology. The output of the 5-element analogue capsules is electronically manipulated and filtered by a DSP to give exceptional directivity. Unwanted off-axis sounds are reduced by up to 80dB, most notably at low frequencies. Nearfield and proximity effects are minimised and wind and handling noise markedly reduced. The degree of directivity in both horizontal and vertical planes may be selected. Available as AT895/RK for field use or AT895/MK for studio and fixed use.
