The AT4053b is a small diaphragm hypercardioid condenser microphone. The microphone is transformer-less and uses a directly coupled balanced output for a clean undistorted signal across the whole frequency spectrum even in high output conditions. The AT4053b features a 80Hz high pass filter and a 10dB pad. It is ideal for recording all acoustic instruments where isolation from rear sound is desired, sound reinforcement and broadcast applications. The microphone comes with the AT8405a stand clamp for 5/8″-27 threaded stands, windscreen and protective carrying case. The AT4053b consists of two modular subassemblies: an AT4900b-48 body and an AT4053b-EL hypercardioid head capsule (both available separately). Additional interchangeable capsules are available in omnidirectional (AT4049b-EL) and cardioid (AT4051b-EL).
