The Z series is a low profile microphone system specifically designed for the flute family. It provides pure tonal reproduction while being unobtrusive. The ZS features one mic placed at the embouchure hole and a second positioned over the keys, to provide a more pure reproduction of the instrument’s tone quality. It incorporates harmonic dampening to significantly reduce the inherent key noise, and a variable adjustment, rubberised clamp, protecting delicate metal finishes. Exists as Z7 (omni), Z117 and Z177 (fig-8) versions.
