The ASF-G EPIC is an enclosure mounted hydrophone microphone with M14 thread for RED Epic/Scarlet cameras. It uses ASF-1 derived technology and has 60 dB better signal to noise ratio than any enclosure hydrophone on the market, the ASF-G EPIC sets new standards. Its frequency range of 70 Hz-20 kHz allows capturing the whole spectrum of sounds while effectively avoiding low frequency noise created by camera handling. The hydrophone is compatible with most professional camera housings, thanks to its M14 thread, and easily mounted on standard bulkhead ports. Due to its compact size, the ASF-G EPIC only adds 4 cm to the housing. The ASF-G EPIC is machined out of high quality Aluminum, anodised and can easily withstand the water pressure of 100 m depth. Includes ASFGEPIC (3-pin Binder to active 3.5mm TRS) cable and ASFG35DC (3-pin Binder to 3.5mm TRS & 9V battery connector). It can be powered by 48 V. Phantom with the optional ASF-G EPIC KIT.
