The Perception 820 Tube is a dual diaphragm (large diaphragm) studio microphone. The capsule is a 25 mm externally polarised design and the electronics use a dual-triode ECC83 valve (tube). 9 switchable polar patterns are available at the remote PSU. The pad and HPF are also fitted on the remote unit rather than the microphone body.
