The CK 33 is a hypercardioid capsule with smooth response from 50 Hz to 20 kHz. It can be used with any of the Discreet Acoustics Modular Series mounts and is powered by a DPA adapter. It is intended for installation purposes but may find use in broadcast. All 30-series capsules feature pre-polarized condenser elements with gold-plated contacts. It has a dual layer windscreen to reduce windnoise while maintaining acoustic transparency. The capsule sensitivity is relatively high and the 6dB/oct roll-off from 200Hz is fixed.
