The C 460B is a CMS/ULS series preamplifier (now superseded by the ULS C 480B) for use with several CK series capsules. A thread adapter allowed the use of 19 mm CMS versions and the 460 comb-ULS/ mounted CK61, 62 and 63 ULS capsules directly. The amplifier had a high specification for use with newly introduced digital recording techniques. A dynamic range of 120 dB was possible and the amplifier had a response from 5 Hz to 30 kHz. The output was transformer-balanced. Electrical specifications shown with CK61 capsule.
