The M 62 is a small nickel diaphragm cardioid capsule for far-field pickup first produced in 1965 and still produced today (see Microtech Gefell M 294) It has a presence boost between 6 kHz and 11 kHz with a +6 dB peak at 9 kHz. It can be used with the M690, MV691 and MV692 preamplifier bodies as well as the M 582 equipped with screw mount thread. The Radio variant was the M 94.
