The ST159 is a large diaphragm multi-pattern condenser microphone featuring a hand-assembled capsule, class A circuit and custom-wound transformer. The capsule uses a 1″, 3-micron thick diaphragm with disk resonator. It is switchable between omnidirectional, cardioid and figure of eight polar patterns. The ST159 features a switchable low-cut filter and an attenuation pad. It is ideal for a wide range of recording applications. Includes the SM8 premium metal suspension shock mount and aluminium carrying case.
