The KSM8 is a dual diaphragm dynamic handheld cardioid microphone. It features a patented Dualdyne cartridge with patent pending DSS stabilisation system that protects and stabilises the active diaphragm from unwanted excursion caused by plosives or impact, excellent off-axis sound rejection and controlled proximity effect. The capsule element has one active and one passive ultra thin diaphragms and an inverted airflow system for a consistent cardioid pattern across the entire frequency range. The capsule uses a Neodymium magnet for maximum output level. It also features an advanced pneumatic shock mount design to minimise handling noise without loss of low frequencies. It is aimed at professional vocal sound reinforcement. Includes zipper case and swivel adapter. It is compatible with all interchangeable Shure handheld wireless transmitters.
