The 4011A is a small diaphragm pre-polarised cardioid condenser microphone ideal for close positioning. Due to its small size it can be used as a spot or hanging microphone in theatres, opera houses and concert halls. It exhibits a flat on-axis response and similarly smooth off-axis response with great phase accuracy. The microphone can handle very high sound pressure levels and is ideal for close-up recording of acoustic guitar, grand piano, percussion, drums overhead, winds and vocals. The 4011A is modular and features the MMP-A high-end preamplifier coupled with a cardioid capsule. It features a 20 dB attenuation pad. It is also available as a matched pair. Includes microphone clip, foam windscreen and case.
