The Velo 8T is a tube ribbon microphone featuring a special low noise Class A design based around a hand-selected GT6205 valve. The Velo 8T employs a 2.5 micron corrugated aluminium ribbon, custom-formed neodymium magnets and custom-wound Cinemag transformer for higher output and sensitivity compared to the standard version. It comes with an additional factory pre-tensioned, field-interchangeable ribbon assembly. The Velo 8T is ideal for recording vocals, electric guitar cabinets, horns and drum overheads. The Velo 8T includes PSM1 power supply, EC7 multi-pin cable, HM1 hard mount, SM4 special custom shock mount, PF3 magnetic mounting pop filter, and moisture-resistant aluminium storage case.
