47

Common name: Flea Microphones 47

Production Status: In production

The FLEA 47 is an exact replica of the U47. It is equipped with the F7 capsule – an exact replica of the M7 capsule, FLEA’s replica of the BV8 transformer and either TELEFUNKEN EF12, VF14 tubes or Andreas Grosser EF12ER tubes. In fact, EF12, EF14, UF14 or VF14 are the same tubes with different heating. The price depends on the chosen tube. The body is duraluminium and is nickel plated. The grille is available in two versions: glossy chrome or matt nickel. The whole set comprises the mic in a wooden box, cable, shock mount and power supply. The available option for this microphone is: FLEA Magnum – fitted with an F47/49 capsule. This mic version features a more open top end and increased sensitivity. The Magnum is also suitable for ambient miking.
