The C 522 ENG is a version of the C 522 design with mechanically adjustable cardioid capsules in an XY configuration. The mutual angle can be adjusted between +/-45° and +/-90° in 15° steps. The ouptut is XY with electronic buffering and can feed balanced or unbalanced lines. Powering is via phantom or internal rechargeable battery. The battery can be charged via an external charger or the phantom. All powering is automatically switched off when the XLR is removed.
