The ME 88 is a long rifle capsule for use with various powering units. It provides broadly similar performance to the MKH816 and has an integral foam windscreen to reduce wind noise. The K3U (XLR) or K3N (Tuchel) powering module had balanced output, the K1 unbalanced, and the K30AV was a transformer-less o/p with multi-pin connector and non-standard powering.
