The R92 is a studio ribbon microphone with reduced proximity effect and increased wind blast protection which can be used for close miking of instruments and vocals. The microphone is slightly assymetric with a crisper sounding front and smoother rear lobe. The ribbon is 59.7 mm long, 4.7 mm wide and 1.8 micron thick. The elastic mount is integral.
