The C 542 BL is a successor to the C 562 BL – a small lightweight boundary layer microphone which can be fixed permanently if required. The height is only 5mm making it extremely inconspicuous and giving a very accurate hemispheric pattern with uniform frequency response. The switchable bass filter is fitted in the powering connector.
