The Globe is a large dual-diaphragm design with a fixed cardioid pattern. The 25 mm diaphragm is gold-sputtered 6-micron Mylar and the housing is brass. The electronics are Class A and transformerless. The spherical grille is built from multiple layers of brass mesh to minimise both plosives and internal resonances.
