The GT1B 1B is a tube microphone that delivers a vintage sound using modern electronics. This enhanced reissue of the legendary Model 1A side-address, true condenser features a hand-assembled, hand-tested 1.10-inch diameter capsule with a machined brass housing. The ultra-thin 3-micron evaporated-gold diaphragm is the thinnest in the business. The triode-wired pentode operates in Class A mode. Groove Tubes’ rigorous quality control also insures that every microphone is within +/-1 dB of a golden microphone spec to permit stereo pairing.
