The KSM44A is a large-diaphragm multi-pattern studio condenser microphone. It is switchable between cardioid, omnidirectional and bidirectional polar pateern responses. It uses dual ultra-thin Mylar diaphragms and has a transformer-less Class A Prethos® Advanced Preamplifier Technology with very low self-noise. It is equipped with a switchable 10 dB attenuation pad and a 80Hz 18dB/octave or 115Hz 6dB/octave high-pass filter. It also features a built-in 17 Hz subsonic filter. The integrated three-stage pop protection grille reduces plosives breath noise. Includes sA44AM ShureLock® stand mount, AK44C zippered carrying case , A44ASM ShureLock® elastic shock mount , 2 x RK383 suspension shock mount elastic cords, A44AVB protective velveteen pouch.
