The C606A preamplifier has an inherent response from 5Hz to 50kHz and noise figure as low as 8dBA. Actual performance is dependent on the KA range capsule fitted. These include the KA11N or 11D omnis (see C609 curves), the KA21 subcardioid/wide cardioid, KA22 and 24 (and side-fire 22S) cardioids, and the KA25 hypercardioid.
A 606B version accepts all standard 1/2 instrumentation microphone capsules. Specification shown is typical including capsule.
