The C1 is a large diaphragm FET transformer-less cardioid condenser microphone. The capsule is centre terminated. Dynamic feedback at the capacitor element is a technique which eliminates distortion at high sound pressure levels. The capacitor membrane is 6 micron Mylar, gold-sputtered. The C1 is equipped with a selectable 10 or 20 dB attenuation pad and a 75 or 250 Hz 6 dB/octave high-pass filter. Includes shock-mount and foam windscreen.
