The AT851a is designed for surface-mount applications requiring high-quality sound pickup. The AT851a accepts interchangeable elements to permit angle of acceptance from 100° to 360°. Its heavy die-cast case and rubber bottom-pad minimise coupling of surface vibration to the microphone and its low-profile design makes for minimum visibility. The 7.6 m detachable cable terminates in TA3F connectors. Also available as the AT851Wa in white and AT851cW in black, without the power module and 0.75m cable terminated with 4-pin locking connector for A-T UniPak™ wireless systems.
